We were tasked with designing an editorial-style visual language for our dissertations. My question was “How effective are the methods of advertising brought to us by social media?”, my dissertation is written in a way that strives to educate marketers and small businesses on how to profit from social media.

I used popular components that you normally see on social media sites such as a navbar and status boxes in order to present my writings in a way that is relevant to the context of my dissertation. Things such as the navbar are actually clickable, making the Interactive PDF act (loosely) as a social media site in its own right.
